About
Designers have often looked at ways, in which design can help the planet. Sustainability is particularly important at the moment as the Earth is affected by many environmental issues. From graphic designers, to architects, interior designers or product designers, many from across the globe have challenged and brought great change as to how we operate and function in the world. Our exploration of two designs per week will enable us to discuss and describe what we see – the use of design elements and principles, how designers have considered the use of materials, texture and style, how they have generated a range of concepts. Participants will be given the opportunity to share personal interpretation and inspiration that is gained from the conversations online.
This course enables participants to interact in dialogue and conversation during the session. We recommend that you have access to an online camera and some drawing materials such as pencils, ruler and drawing paper to help generate their design concepts.
